Top 4 teams from each group will go into a Top Group Finals Play-off. Top 2 teams from each group will play each other in the first 2 qualifying finals for a spot in the semi-final. 3rd and 4th placed teams will play in an eliminiation final. The will of the elimination final will play the loser of the qualifying final for a spot in the semi-final. Winner of the semi-finals will play off in the grand final.

5th and 6th teams will play-off for the minor positions and the bottom 2 teams will play-off for the Wooden Spoon.

MU Cup will be a straight elimination tournament, with top 4 teams seeded and the rest put into a random draw.
