THURSDAY CUP
Written by Zhen Yuan Tan
Sunday, 15 August 2010

Hello all, another week of Thursday Cup is upon us. Looking at last weeks results we saw the only two teams with female players battle it out in a extremely tight game where the victor was to be decided with a penalty shoot off. The final score for the game was 1(pen 3) - 1 (pen 2). In the second match, a clash between Arseanal and CN United occurred, where despite of the fact that Aseanal started with four men for the first ten minutes, they were able to win comfortably with a final score of 5 - 2. In the final match of that week, where Monday 1 played off against newcomers Nong Natt 2, a game which can only be described as slaughter occurred. Nong Natt 2 destroyed Monday 1 seven goals to nil.

This week the fight for Cup glory continues as the next set of preliminary games are played, the fixtures are as follows.

5:00pm Smokok FC Vs. Pelican United

5:40pm Blue Steel Vs. Devil Gunners

6:20pm Melbourne United Vs. Disqualified

Whose Futsal will reign supreme?

FNL manager, Carl Moh
